Ministries at Newman
At Newman, our focus for our ministries is to draw people closer to God as well at growing in love toward one another.
Adult Ministry
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of venues for adults to connect, learn, and share with one another. Everyone is welcome – members, regular attendees, visitors, and the curious.
We also encourage every adult to utilize their God given gifts to serve within the church for His glory and purposes. We believe that God has a task for all of us to do within His church – no one is exempt!
Youth Ministry
An environment where youth are challenged to own their faith for themselves. Tough questions about life are encouraged and explored together from the Word. Teens can be transparent about their joys, concerns, social challenges, etc.
They are encouraged to stay in the Sunday Service as they adapt to practical teaching/preaching. We also like to encourage our youth in utilizing their God given gifts to serve for His glory and purposes.
Children’s Ministry
A place where children will grow in the Lord as the foundational truths of the Bible are shared. We have a fun, caring environment to reach all ages of children for Christ.
We offer Sunday Morning Children’s Church where the children will stay in the service for worship and a short children’s message. They are then dismissed (2nd service only), and a couple of our wonderful volunteers will welcome them into our children’s wing for a time of lesson, worship, fun games, and an activity related to the lesson.
